New York legendary artist FUTURA and AllRightsReserved’s visual art exhibition “FUTURALAND” officially landed in Hong Kong today, showcasing FUTURA’s largest public art installation to date in the atrium of Landmark in Central for two weeks. FUTURA himself also came to Hong Kong to participate in the opening event!
Elements such as aliens and atomic patterns are commonly seen in the works of graffiti artist FUTURA. In his current exhibition “FUTURALAND,” he presents a visual art journey with a theme of a space base. Highlight works include a 6-meter-tall giant rocket metal installation “X-6000” and 7 alien sculptures FL-006, each 1.8 meters tall, showcasing his boundless imagination and creativity.
For this exhibition in Hong Kong, FUTURA expressed a hope to lead visitors to understand the characters and universe he has created in an interesting way, to grasp the creative concepts behind the characters. These characters from unknown realms make up his fantastical world, allowing visitors to interact and engage within his world.
In addition to showcasing FUTURA’s art installation, the new limited capsule collection “FUTURALAND” is also available for purchase at the “FUTURALAND” x Futura Laboratories pop-up store, offering items such as t-shirts, tote bags, and more for everyone to get their hands on.
Futura Laboratories collaborates with DDT Store to launch the global limited edition FUTURALAND series collectibles, including “X-6000” sculpture, “MOBILE35” and “MOBILE50”.
