Through the eyes of photographer Helen, who once lived in Japan, it provides relief from the heat during the day and becomes a beacon of light on the street corners at night, illuminating the way for passersby. She is currently holding a photo exhibition titled “I Am a __ Ice Cream” at Toriyama Trading Company, offering different perspectives through her lens.
In everyday life, the ubiquitous “soft serve ice cream” is sometimes taken for granted, yet it simultaneously soothes the soul. The photos in this photo exhibition capture the soft serve ice cream standing in various corners of cities in Japan and Hong Kong. Some people think it exudes a faint sense of detachment, while others feel its cute figure adds a cheerful atmosphere to bustling streets.
