Unlock iOS 16.4’s brand new emojis! Popular heart emojis come in three new colors, and who knew the usage of new emoticons could be so versatile?

In the visualized world of the internet, sometimes a simple emoji can better express personal emotions. Recognizing this, Apple continues to update its mobile operating system, bringing more emoji to its vast user base. Recently, the new test version of iOS brings 31 brand new emoji, expected to be officially released in March or April this year. Let’s take a look and see if there are any groundbreaking new designs this time!

This time, the focus will be on the “Shaking Face” emoji, which has multiple meanings, including expressing shock, fear, confusion, disbelief, anticipation, excitement, and other intense emotions that cause trembling. In addition, it may also represent dizziness or shaking as a physical reaction. The official recommendation is to use it to express personal reactions caused by external forces, including earthquakes or loud noises. Its usage is quite versatile.

In addition, the beloved heart pattern will be available in three new colors: sky blue, gray, and pink. The light blue heart represents friendship and a warm feeling. Its lighter tone makes it more suitable for playful interactions between friends. The pink heart has been used multiple times in other designs, but this time it is being introduced as a standalone complete heart shape for the first time. The gray heart can represent a calm emotion or be used to comfort others.

In terms of gestures, this time a new gesture of “push” is added, with a total of 6 skin tones, which can indicate pushing something away or rejecting something. Since this model is divided into left and right hand versions, users can combine them to convey the meaning of clapping or holding and pressing something with both hands.

There are more new animal designs this time, including reindeer, donkeys, ducks, jellyfish, blackbirds, etc., while plants include rarer hyacinths, pea pods, and ginger. Other designs in the activities and items category include flutes, sandballs, hair clips, and hand fans. Finally, there are also symbols representing the Sikh faith, such as the Khanda symbol, and wifi patterns.

Apple officially announced that this series of new emojis will be launched in spring this year. Apple fans, please stay tuned!
