BE@RBRICK has always been a popular collectible item because of its special editions released from time to time in collaboration with brands and cartoons, sometimes even becoming objects of speculation. The MoMA Design Store under the New York Museum of Modern Art has collaborated for the first time with the Japanese toy manufacturer MEDICOM TOY to launch a limited edition BE@RBRICK featuring Vincent van Gogh’s masterpiece “Starry Night.” With the blessing of the art master, both van Gogh fans and BE@RBRICK enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the product release!
The “Starry Night” BE@RBRICK will be released in two versions, one set of two including 100% (2.75 inches) and 400% scale (11 inches) BE@RBRICK each, priced at $1,680. The other version is a single 1000% size (27.5 inches) priced at $6,280. Due to the unique details painted on each bear brick, each one is one of a kind.
BE@RBRICK was created by the Japanese toy manufacturer MEDICOM TOY and has been collaborating with various art, brands, cartoons, and other units since its inception in 2001, launching various limited edition styles, sparking a collecting craze. This time, MoMA Design Store, which has always collected creative art products, has collaborated with a manufacturer in the collectible toy industry, definitely highly anticipated!
This collaboration with the iconic artwork “Starry Night” BE@RBRICK will be available for sale starting at 10 am on Saturday, August 7th on the MoMA Design Store website. Limited to one per person, so be sure to seize the opportunity if you like it!
