LA TABLE is a studio located on the island of Saint Martin in the Caribbean. Designer Alexandre Chapelin began conceptualizing and creating ocean tables in 2015, with the Caribbean Sea serving as his creative inspiration. These lifelike ocean tables are made from materials found in nature, such as different rocks, wood, special resins, and are handcrafted to create beautiful scenes of clear water and sandy beaches, full of natural colors from concept to material itself.
Just by looking at the appearance of the ocean table, the blue ocean tones have already permeated a cool feeling, blending textures of rocks and other materials, creating a composition full of rich layers, feeling like a piece of modern art. It is worth mentioning that each ocean table is unique, with different shades of blue and lines, creating different visual effects. Some oceans seem to be in a still state, while others designs look like waves are surging towards the shore, exuding dynamism and vitality. In addition to the desirable ocean, the surrounding sandbars are also made quite detailed and realistic, as if bringing the natural landscape right in front of your eyes!
