Fuyi’s “INTERSECT” cross-category online shooting is back, and three rare “Monkey Kingdom” NFTs make their first appearance.

Phillips Auction’s Asian cross-category online auction “INTERSECT” returns once again, with this special auction that was well-received last year officially kicking off recently. This dedicated sale presents a total of 127 selected lots, featuring not only highly sought-after contemporary art pieces, rare watches, and exquisite jewelry, but also 3 rare works from the hottest NFT project in Asia, “Monkey Kingdom,” making their debut this season.

The 3 MONKEY LEGENDS that will be featured in this season’s “INTERSECT” are the rarest in the series, and are ranked on the “legendary” rarity ranking composed of a total of 21 unique NFTs. They are Monkey Legend #0 (Fire), Monkey Legends #1 (Water), and Monkey Legends #2 (Lightning), with a minimum estimated value of HK$50,000 to HK$70,000.

This time, appearing at the exclusive event of Christie’s is the first time that an Asian NFT series has made its debut and been exhibited on an international auction platform. Moreover, it is also a special opportunity for collectors to obtain rare works before the launch of the “Monkey Kingdom” project in April, which is truly valuable. This series is developed on the Ethereum blockchain, supporting a new experience and exclusive usage rights in its metaverse, further solidifying its future utility development in the ecosystem.

Apart from “Monkey Kingdom,” this event also brings together several contemporary artists who have attracted attention, including Edgar Plans, Eddie Martinez, Atsushi Kaga, Javier Calleja, Matías Sánchez, and others. It is worth mentioning that at another event held in mid-month (Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Online Auction), the artwork Monkey Kingdom #1325 was sold for HKD 189,000, and currently three rare pieces have received multiple bids, with #0 and #1 each receiving 10 and 12 bids respectively, with current prices reaching HKD 100,000.

What will be the final selling price of the three “legendary” “Monkey Kingdom” editions? Stay tuned! Interested friends may want to check here for more information and don’t forget to place your bid!
