Ugo Gattoni spent a total of six months and over 2000 hours hand-drawing to create this dreamlike and surreal sports city. The two posters are divided into left and right sides, with the left featuring the Olympics and the right featuring the Paralympics. Both posters can be viewed independently or together, creating a stunning effect!
The poster not only depicts medals, aerial metro, Olympic flame, main Olympic venues, and the logo of this Olympics, but also includes many subtle details. Carefully, the artist drew an equal number of men and women inside the illustration to symbolize gender equality; iconic architectural elements of Paris and France, such as the Eiffel Tower, Seine River, Arc de Triomphe, Concorde Square, etc.; it also showcases a total of 47 sports, including the first-ever “People’s Marathon” in Olympic history. Notably, the artist also hid 8 Paris Olympics mascots, Phryges, in the drawing, hoping everyone can have fun searching for them together.
