This November, the Hong Kong Arts Centre will be hosting a series of diverse art activities. If you are a fan of comics, do not miss the “Comic Mischief School” sharing session, where Belgian comic artist Midam will be specially invited to Hong Kong to exchange ideas with local comic artist Kwong Chi Kit.
Belgian cartoonist Midam has been creating comics since 1993. His works are known for their dark humor. In the comic series “Kid Paddle” and “Game Over,” he brings joy to readers through one-page mischievous stories.
At the “Comic Prank Learning” sharing session, Midam will not only share his creative process and comic drawing experience with the audience, but also share his experiences with publishers and independent comic publishing, analyze the European comic market and ecosystem. In addition, he will also collaborate with Kwong Chi Kit to demonstrate live drawing of nine-panel comics, an absolutely rare opportunity!
