This modern edition of the catalog is the culmination of Christian Zervos’ lifelong efforts. He personally collaborated with Picasso to compile his paintings, sketches, and drafts from his artistic career spanning forty years before his death. The final volume of the catalog was officially published in 1978, by which time both of them had passed away.
The complete set of 33 volumes in French was first published in 1991, while the English version was first published in 2014. Currently, both the French and English versions are available for sale on the Thames & Hudson Asia website in Hong Kong, priced at HKD 225,000.
