Prada Mode Station 10 will land at Kote, a cultural venue in Seoul, from September 5th to September 6th this year. This edition will be themed “Plural and Parallel” and will be held concurrently with the Frieze Seoul art fair.
This year’s cultural club, curated by Lee Sook-Kyung, will present site-specific installations by renowned directors Kim Jee-Woon, Yeon Sang-ho, and Jeong Dahee. Through their unique perspectives, the directors aim to promote a grand vision of contemporary cinema. Lee Sook-Kyung stated, “Film can reflect established values and ideas within a specific culture, while also opening up new possibilities and visions that have a profound impact on culture. Film is both a projection of the real world and a commitment to the world of imagination; it is a product of collective imagination that in turn drives collective imagination. Kim Jee-Woon, Yeon Sang-ho, and Jeong Dahee have created worlds in their films that are different from others, becoming cultural carriers of contemporary Korea and creating infinite possibilities. Prada Mode Seoul will provide each director with an independent yet interconnected space to showcase their interpretations of the real and imagined worlds.”
