The global art world has been writing a new chapter since 2020. Influenced by the repeated pandemic, people have been forced to maintain social distance, and artists have shifted their creations from outdoors to indoors. However, space has not limited their creative ideas; instead, it has allowed artists to spark more imagination in adversity and transform it into creation.
To gather works inspired by COVID-19 from artists, José Guerrero, Emma Calvo, and Irene Llorca from Spain have specially created the world’s first online The Covid Art Museum, encouraging artists to unleash their creativity and document the anti-epidemic daily life in different forms of creation.
