K11 MUSEA, a artful shopping center concept inspired by “A Muse by the Sea,” has always been dedicated to showcasing diverse cultures through various art exhibitions and events. Recently, they have invited a series of renowned artists and designers to create 6 MUSE ROOMS, each with a unique style, scattered in different locations. Prominent artists and designers participating include: a’strict, Jon Burgerman, Nelson Chow, Tony Oursler, Hajime Sorayama, and Joyce Wang. They will lead visitors on an imaginative journey that blends art, design, style, and taste through various types of works, allowing everyone to unleash their unlimited imagination.

Internationally acclaimed interior designer Joyce Wang has created an ice cream kiosk with an old Hong Kong concept, named “Victoria Harbour Ice Cream Kiosk.” Joyce has a fondness for terrazzo, a material commonly found in tenement buildings, parks, and MTR stations in the past. This time, she drew inspiration from the simple appearance and function of old Hong Kong playgrounds, using green, coral, and yellow as the main color scheme. The design heavily features terrazzo and constructs an octagonal ice cream kiosk, offering exclusive Hong Kong-style ice cream cookie sandwiches for visitors to enjoy the view of Victoria Harbour while reminiscing about their childhood memories.

British artist Jon Burgerman, who is based in New York, brings his iconic quirky cartoons to “Candyland,” with a special Pick ‘N’ Mix candy area where you can taste the sweetness of picking candies by the pound and relive happy childhood memories. In addition, this limited pop-up store also offers a range of limited edition products that are worth collecting one by one!

Hong Kong’s renowned architect Nelson Chow has meticulously crafted a “spaceship” for the people of Hong Kong, named “Dreamscape”, not only taking you to boundless dreamscapes but also bringing limited edition goodies from Elephant Grounds from the other end of the galaxy.

This dreamy light and shadow installation is inspired by NET-A-PORTER’s “a vision of style.” Visit their exclusive fashion kingdom and immerse yourself in a whimsical pink world. Hidden here is a Secret Room full of unknown mysteries, featuring the mysterious works of the Korean media art group a’strict, waiting for the audience to discover.

Stepping into this world of blurred reality and fantasy, you will feel like falling into a dream, wandering between the tangible and intangible boundaries. K11 MUSEA once again brings the latest collaboration between the renowned Japanese artist Kusama Motonari and the blockchain art certification platform ZHEN. to this art gallery, showcasing the artist’s first NFT series, definitely worth a visit for fans to see the master’s latest creations!

American multimedia installation artist Tony Oursler creates an art maze symbolizing consciousness called “LOCK 2,4,6”, leaping into a bizarre and mysterious dreamland. This time, CURATOR ART & CAFÉ will collaborate across disciplines with the artist to explore how technology applications affect and even suppress human behavior.

This cross-disciplinary creation truly turns the shopping mall into a “seaside muse”, so next time you visit K11 MUSEA, why not take the time to appreciate these creative masterpieces from artists and designers!
