In addition to large-scale works, the plants in the park are also dressed up for the exhibition. The organizers have specially decorated the tree trunks with red and white polka dots that are characteristic of Yayoi Kusama. Depending on the season, the park will also display flowers and greenery related to Yayoi Kusama, allowing visitors to feel like they are entering the imaginative world of the Polka Dot Queen and experience Yayoi Kusama’s unique polka dot aesthetic from multiple angles. “KUSAMA: COSMIC NATURE” will be held from now until October 31. For those who cannot personally visit the exhibition in the US, they can only imagine being there through online photos.
