The winners of the 2020 iPhone Global Photography Contest have been announced! The representative from Hong Kong won an award with a beautiful photo of an Italian sunset!

With the increasing popularity of smartphones, coupled with the continuous improvement of their camera functions, now all you need is an iPhone in hand to capture beautiful photos, without having to spend thousands to tens of thousands on a separate camera. The highly anticipated iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) recently announced this year’s winners, divided into categories such as “Photographers of the Year,” “Animals,” “Architecture,” “Nature,” “Sunset,” “People,” among 19 others, with participants from around the world. Therefore, winning an award is truly a great honor for the recipients!

The first prize for “Best Photographer of the Year” went to British street photographer Dimpy Bhalotia, whose entry “Flying Boys” captures the bodies of three boys jumping, each with different body movements, creating a dynamic scene, while the black and white tones create a sense of conflict.

As for the highlight that cannot be missed in the list, it is Leo Chan from Hong Kong who won the championship in the “Sunset” category with a beautiful photo titled “Nightfall at the Dolomites” taken in Italy. He brought his newly released iPhone 11 Pro to join a photography group in Italy, passing through the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Dolomites. On the way back, he used the night mode of the iPhone 11 Pro to casually take this photo, capturing such a beautiful and dreamy twilight scene. The colorful and dazzling sky is truly fascinating.

Other award-winning works are also worth everyone’s appreciation, whether it’s various expressions and actions of people, or the hustle and bustle and desolation from around the world, all are truthfully presented through their lenses, allowing us to feel the magic of photography.
