LOEWE participates in the Milan International Furniture Fair for the fifth time this year, bringing the groundbreaking “LOEWE Baskets” exhibition, inviting ten artists from different countries to create woven baskets, hand-sewn pieces, and calligraphy. This not only promotes the importance of craftsmanship but also gives artists the opportunity to showcase their talents.
These ten artists and craftsmen come from Japan, the United States, South Africa, and Ireland, each using their skilled techniques and unique personal styles to transform natural materials such as bamboo, stones, straw, and willow branches into distinctive works of art in different ways. Each piece of artwork is unique and closer to the natural atmosphere.
In addition to the artist’s works, LOEWE also specifically invited Spanish craftsmen to create a series of handbags, accessories, and pendants, each piece incorporating the ideas of ten artists, using leather weaving, with superior materials and craftsmanship that are pleasing to the eye.
