Paris Men’s Fashion Week 2023 Spring/Summer officially kicked off this week! Louis Vuitton menswear will debut the new season’s fashion show on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 local time, which is 8:30 PM Hong Kong time. ZTYLEZ MAN will bring you live coverage.
Attending Paris Fashion Week again, the Louis Vuitton menswear team will embrace this season with a fresh mindset. Following the FW22 season earlier this year, which marked the final collection designed by the late creative director Virgil Abloh, SS23 will be the brand and team’s first season without Virgil Abloh’s “guidance.” It is both a new attempt and a new challenge.
The teaser images of the fashion show have been revealed on the brand’s official YouTube channel, showing a Parisian background that appears to have been transformed into a virtual setting. In the middle, there is a giant bright yellow slide, surrounded by multiple giant “Louis Vuitton” balloons, with some buildings even transformed into giant horns. Although the brand has not explained the meaning of these elements, it is clear from the atmosphere that this season’s LV menswear collection is expected to maintain its unique Gen Z vitality.
