This season still showcases Matthew M. Williams’ signature style. Since taking over Givenchy in 2020, he has been experimenting with various materials and colors, and the 2023 autumn/winter menswear collection is no exception. By incorporating haute couture thinking into his designs and combining it with his expertise in street style, he creates a strong visual impact and shapes a bold, unrestrained, and distinctive image.
一开场，几位男模穿上由高级工坊制作的黑色西装，剪裁合身，缝合位置更刻意不留皱边，使整体轮廓更显修长，呈现品牌高贵优雅的精神。
随后出场的造型，是Matthew M. Williams招牌式的街头服装设计，经典西装轮廓变成oversized大衣搭配短裤和长靴，透过层层堆叠的服装呈现今季创意，例如在短身连帽上衣下，竟还有四层layer，每层的长度均恰到好处；而及膝短裤内亦配上撞色长裤，造型层次分明。
另外，Matthew M. Williams 亦大玩解构美学，将男装的不同元素拆开重组，在造型中堆砌不同尺寸hoodie、运动服、皮毛大褂、人造蛇皮、迷彩服装等，并随意加入半截裙、格纹苏格兰裙和没有扣钮的连身裤，把美国穿衣文化带进巴黎时装屋。
