The Dior Men 2023 Autumn/Winter collection, helmed by Kim Jones, draws inspiration from two sources: the first being the inaugural collection created by Yves Saint Laurent for the brand in 1958, and the second being the poem “The Waste Land” by British poet T. S. Eliot.
These inspirations are presented in the collection with concepts of change, movement, flexibility, and fluidity, and blend elements of strength and softness, traditional British tailoring techniques, and high fashion in menswear.
The collection features modern, practical, and versatile clothing, such as practical sailor-style outerwear, slim fisherman sweaters, traditionally knitted tops with sculptural elements, as well as tops that showcase tailoring techniques and draping, and knee-length skirts and wide-legged shorts that combine masculinity with femininity, formal wear with casual wear.
