Aston Martin V12 Vantage Final Chapter, globally limited to 333 units to bid farewell to the iconic V12 engine.

Last Wednesday Hong Kong time, British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin unveiled the new V12 Vantage, officially putting a perfect end to this iconic car series. It also confirmed that the “final chapter” coming in 2022 has already been completely sold out.

The Vantage series, which can be traced back to the 1950s in history, is launching a new car this time. In addition to being known as the farewell work of the V12 family, the new car is also the most powerful version ever – even being directly referred to as the “fastest” and “most fierce” version in Aston Martin’s live broadcast.

In terms of performance, the V12 Vantage is equipped with the most powerful 5.2L V12 Twin-turbo engine ever produced by the manufacturer. The engine cover features a massive U-shaped design, paying homage to the iconic GT12 tank. It is equipped with a mid-rear wheel configuration and a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, capable of producing 690 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 753 Nm of torque at 1,800 rpm. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (approximately 96 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 321 km/h. In order to maintain a close connection between the new car and the power unit, the dual-clutch ZF transmission has been adjusted based on the experiences of the V12 Speedster and Vantage F1 race car. The automatic adaptive software is said to respond to driving conditions and various inputs from the driver.

In terms of design, the car manufacturer continues to pursue its lightweight design philosophy, significantly reducing the weight of the new car, including the front bumper, hood, side skirts, etc., all made of carbon fiber material, while the rear bumper and rear luggage compartment cover are made of synthetic materials. The dual central exhaust kit is made of lightweight stainless steel only 1mm thick, reducing the weight of the car by at least 7.2 kilograms to 1,795 kilograms. In addition, the new V12 Vantage has a 40mm wider body, 8% increased body rigidity, and 6.7% increased lateral rigidity. The manufacturer has addressed the issue of excessive oversteer by increasing the front and rear spring rates by 50% and 40% respectively, reinforcing the front and rear anti-roll bars by 5% and softening by 41%, and equipping the car with 410mm front and 360mm rear ceramic carbon fiber discs and “6 front 4 rear” piston calipers, making the new car more stable in dynamics and providing sufficient grip. In addition, it can withstand a brake temperature of 800°C.

As for the interior of the cabin, there have not been too many changes, still adorned with the V12 exclusive emblem, equipped with 16-way power-adjustable heated Sport Plus seats, a sports steering wheel, Alcantara suede roof, and an 8” central control screen. Additionally, you can also choose to add a premium sound system, carbon fiber trim, carbon fiber seats, and more.

Aston Martin has announced the limited production of only 333 units of the all-new V12 Vantage, available exclusively for selected customers. VIP car owners were informed as early as last December, resulting in the complete sell-out of the new car before its debut. Even the waiting list is already full, with deliveries expected to start in the second quarter of this year. As the final edition of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage, it’s no wonder it has been so popular.
