Leica cameras, with a century-old history, have always been popular among photographers for their excellent technology and craftsmanship. Recently, the brand has aimed to attract trendsetters by announcing a three-way collaboration with A Bathing Ape and New York graffiti artist STASH to create a special edition Leica D-LUX 7 camera.
As a camera targeting the trendy market, the design of the body naturally takes A Bathing Ape’s iconic Abc Camo camouflage as the main theme, combined with STASH’s unique style font label, and two classic Leica color schemes: the black version is released by Leica, while the silver version is exclusively released by A Bathing Ape.
In terms of technical specifications, the Leica D-Lux 7 “A Bathing Ape X Stash” special edition portable camera is the same as the standard model, including a large M4/3 inch optical component and a fast zoom lens with optical image stabilization function. Its focal length range is (equivalent to 35mm camera) 24-75mm, and the aperture range is f/1.7-2.8. In order to achieve an effective resolution of 17 million images, the lens uses the middle part of the photosensitive element (with a total resolution of over 21 million pixels) to capture higher quality images. In addition to supporting high-resolution photos, the photosensitive element also supports 4K 30fps and full HD 60fps video recording.
