Fashion Guide: 10 Male Fashionistas You Can’t Miss

Stepping into 2022, of course, we hope to welcome the new year with a new look. In addition to the usual new year’s resolutions, it’s also a good idea to change up your style. With the new year just beginning, ZTYLEZ MAN has compiled some daily outfit inspirations from several fashion influencers on IG. These influencers cover a wide range of styles including military, vintage, formal, CityBoy, outdoor functional, and even my personal favorite, Ivy Style. There’s something for everyone.

WM_Styling

WM_Styling from Japan is the blog of the popular Japanese shopping store Digital Mountain. It is mainly demonstrated by the store staff showing different combinations of items in the store, and each outfit will also share multiple angles and details (such as length, material) in the post, as well as information on the items that can be selected in each outfit.

Giiiiiyong

CityBoy, CityBoy, this style originated from the late 1970s and was defined and expanded by the former editor-in-chief of the Japanese classic fashion magazine “POPEYE,” Takahiro Kinoshita. In recent years, it has been gaining attention again in different regions. This fashionista from Korea, giiiiiyong, can be said to be a good example of this style of dressing, and you can hardly find a repeated outfit combination on his IG. However, everyone should remember that City Boy is not just a simple style of dressing or photography technique. Mr. Takahiro Kinoshita, who has been advocating for City Boy since then, actually represents a way of life (note: not a lifestyle).

awalker4715

As a sneaker enthusiast myself, I may prefer awalker4715 from the United States. awalker4715, who is a sneaker collector, is accustomed to pairing different types of sneakers with different outfits. The reason I recommend him to everyone is that he is also a lover of retro items, with a good knowledge of watches and cars. Therefore, even though he owns sneakers that are popular in the city, he likes to pair them with a style that is not too loud.

r_97_next

Another fashionista from Japan is here. With a playful and versatile style, r_97_next’s strength lies in his color combinations. With the Lunar New Year approaching, why not take a look at his interpretations of tone on tone or mix & match.

kbh_kk

Friends who like coats absolutely cannot miss following kbh_kk from Korea. He founded his own clothing brand CNDR, and personally calls himself a contour master. This is because this fashionista knows how to wear different clothes and highlight the contours of the clothes and his own body shape. Coupled with the complementary shooting angles, he often exudes a rich and elegant feeling. Of course, the coat styles seen every autumn and winter are kbh_kk’s “killer moves”, from vintage M51 fishtail to classic Chesterfield and Trench Coat, he can handle them all. By the way, have you ever noticed that when he wears beanies, he looks a bit like the protagonist Jean Reno from “LÉON”?

hotneul

Ha-Neul Lee, a fashionista from Korea, is the owner of a vintage clothing store and a seasoned military and vintage clothing collector. Basically, what you see on his IG are some personal collections along with some vintage-inspired outfits, and Lee Ha-Neul often thoughtfully assembles different layers for his designs. Friends who like this style definitely shouldn’t miss out. By the way, before sharing military outfit ideas, Lee Ha-Neul was a fan of gentleman’s clothing, so interested friends may want to scroll down to see his examples.

Military enthusiasts, please note that this military clothing store manager from Korea is someone you definitely shouldn’t miss. Because, compared to Lee Ha-Neul, he is more passionate about styling military clothing. In addition to the most common MA-1, M65, and M51, he has even demonstrated and mastered more rare pieces like the M-41, A-2, B-3, N-3B Snorkel. For those who have always been unsure how to pull off a military look, you might want to take a look at his daily demonstrations.

gentle_baek

Another highly recommended fashionista. Gentle_baek, who has a blog on the well-known Korean website Naver, is a male fashion influencer. His personal favorite styles include formal wear demonstrations and some Ivy Style-inspired outfits. Items such as Ivy League Tops, Polo Shirts, Barbour jackets, houndstooth coats, double-breasted suits, and more have all made appearances.

jarson1114

Although there are not many demonstrations, this illustrator who is engaged in graphic design recently shared several works, all of which are quite worth referring to. You may want to take a look.

richardbiedul

Finally, Richard Biedul from the UK is neither a blogger nor in the fashion business, but a practicing lawyer. However, the 37-year-old Richard Biedul became a model 10 years ago after a chance encounter with a talent scout. Standing at 188cm tall, he has been dubbed “the world’s most stylish man” by foreign websites multiple times, and his outfit demonstrations have always focused on different styles of men’s suits, from Italian casual to English formal, he can handle them all. His unique charm is also thanks to his stylist wife, Melissa Jane Tarling, who occasionally appears on Richard Biedul’s IG. In addition to his height, Richard Biedul has very delicate features and facial contours, coupled with a gray-white beard, giving off a strong masculine charm. Therefore, I have always imagined that if one day he were to appear at a Lemaire or BALENCIAGA fashion show, it would be very special.
