【New Year’s Good Place 2023】6 Great Victoria Harbour Waterfront Installations! Rabbit Dance “Fire Dragon”/Chocolate Rain Inflatable Lucky Cat

In addition to visiting major shopping malls to take photos, you can also go to the seaside! The creators of “Robot Lik” (機器人力克), “Chocolate Rain” (巧克力雨), and “Dian Dang” (癲噹), along with several local artists, have created “Fantastic 6: Celebrating the Lunar New Year Together at Victoria Harbour” limited-time installations at six seaside locations, with different New Year greetings as the theme.

In Wan Chai, the “HarbourChill Waterfront Leisure Station” features a 9-meter tall double-sided “LED Drum” installation. One side of the drum is composed of LED lightboxes displaying different celebratory patterns, while the other side is designed as a giant pink heart installation. Next to it, there is an interactive device where you can lightly press the “Heartbeat Sensor” and the pink hearts will immediately flash. On the approximately 19-meter long “Coastal Promenade” in the Wan Chai “Water Sports and Recreation Zone,” there are three-dimensional Chocolate Rain installations in the shape of the twelve zodiac animals, and the versatile Fatina has also transformed into a more than 3-meter tall inflatable fortune cat installation.

As for the new year installation in Causeway Bay’s “Vibrant Typhoon Shelter Theme Zone,” it is full of old Hong Kong flavor, with a 15-meter-long “fire dragon” dancing by rabbits and a 2.5-meter-high “lucky twist egg machine.”

In addition, there is also the “Nick The Robot Adventure Exploration” at the “Cyberport Waterfront Promenade” in Kennedy Town, the 4-meter-tall three-dimensional “Bamboo Wishes” art installation in the “Eastern District Park Theme Area” in Fortress Hill, and the “Doraemon New Year Float Parade” installation at the Tsuen Wan Waterfront Promenade. These are all popular photo spots!
