You can visit Donglong Island and take a photo at the White Cliff, and then go around the island in just half a day. After that, you will still have time to return to the city and have dinner. You can also choose to camp overnight on the island, which is a very convenient option for a small island excursion! The following are the highlights of 3 must-visit and must-eat places, and at the bottom, there are routes and information!

//White Cliff//

The most famous part of Donglong Island is the southernmost white cliff. It is said that in order to prevent ships from crashing into the cliffs, a white powder is scattered, making the rocks turn white like snow. It is easy to take photos from various angles and it is even more spectacular if taken from a drone. Climbing up and down the white cliff requires some physical effort, but it is not considered very dangerous. There are often other tourists nearby, so it is relatively safe. However, if you have limited hiking experience, you should still be extra careful.

//Lighthouse//

Leaving the east side of Long Island along the east side of Long Island, it takes about an hour to reach the lighthouse location. You can see the sea position opposite Tseung Kwan O and the peninsula mountain scenery of Pau Tau. The lighthouse is already by the seaside, so if you want to climb up the lighthouse for photos, you need to assess your abilities.

//He Quan Convenience Store//

There are many convenience stores on the island, and the most popular one is Hei Quan. The red bean soup made by this store is cooked with firewood, and the red beans are large, sweet, and have a citrus fragrance with a sandy texture. Other delicious food at Tea House includes Western-style toast and pork chop. The location is near the pier, so you can choose to eat before or after going around the island to fill your stomach.
