Amigo & Amigo, the Australian light art team, brings the “Gnomes Orchestra” Christmas-themed installation to the Lai Yuen Amusement Park. In addition to taking photos, you can interact with the art installation and create an immersive music experience.
The highlights include the “Giant Christmas Accordion Arch” in the atrium on the first floor of Sogo Plaza, with 5-meter-tall “Accordion Elves” and 3 accordion arches. By stepping on the ground sensors, different instrument sounds and lighting effects can be created. At the entrance of Sogo Plaza on Kai Chiu Road, there is a “Colorful Wind Band Garden”. The “Trumpet Elves” are surrounded by a 4-meter-tall floral art lighting installation. By gently touching the sensors on the trumpet flower lights, different wind instrument sounds can be played, and a music and light show will be performed every 30 minutes.
Afterwards, you can go to the “Christmas Sound and Light Corridor” in Phase 1 of Lee Gardens to take a photo! “Little Elf Raphael” and “Xylophone Elf” will perform Christmas music in the interactive Christmas light array in the corridor. By touching the Christmas light poles, you can trigger dazzling lights and sound effects. There will also be a sound and light performance every 30 minutes.
The atrium of Phase 1 of Lai Garden is adorned with glowing hats from the Elf Family, emitting a warm and radiant light. As for the “Fantasy Christmas Tree Garden” in the Lai Stage Plaza, it features “Doctor Elf” and adorable Christmas trees, also filled with a festive atmosphere.
In addition, as long as you open the Christmas AR filter on Lee Gardens’ Instagram page, you can take selfies with the 3D elves. Additionally, you can participate in interactive games through the Lee Gardens mobile app.
