Short trip to Sai Kung Pak Lap Wan! Check-in at the colorful house, and enjoy activities such as camping, kayaking, rock climbing, and hiking!

A hiking route with great cost performance! A route that includes village house check-ins, beach camping, kayaking, seaside rocks, hiking, and other activities, with varying levels of difficulty and length of time. You can arrange your itinerary according to personal preferences or abilities. Let’s now introduce multiple check-in points!

Baila Wan is located in Baila Village next to the Man Yee Reservoir. It only takes 15 minutes to walk from the village entrance to the beach. Along the way, you will first pass by the first checkpoint, which is the colorful houses of Baila Village. The villagers have transformed a row of village houses into holiday homes, replacing them with bright candy colors, with blue, yellow, orange, and green, with two red brick houses.

After taking photos, walk a few minutes to reach the beach, where there is a fully equipped cafeteria with food and supplies, where you can rent camping equipment or a canoe. On weekends, you can see many tents on the beach, and canoes can be paddled to coastal pebble beaches or rocky caves, including Cotton Tree Cave, Sevenfold Beach, etc.

If you want a shorter route and don’t choose camping or canoeing, you can walk along the rocky shore to the Cotton Tree Cave, and then return to the White Wax Bay Beach from the mountain road. This route, excluding photo time, only takes one to two hours. The starting point is on the left-hand side of the beach facing the sea, where the rocky path begins. When the weather is good, the sea water is a deep blue color. The rocks have multiple resting spots, and on sunny days, they are not too slippery. You can sit on the rocks and enjoy the view, whether facing the sea or the rocks.

Along the rocky edge to the Kapok Cave, you can even walk into the cave, but it depends on the tide level at that time. The rocks near the cave entrance may be slippery, so be sure to pay attention to safety. Afterwards, you can walk back to the beach along the mountain road. The road conditions are clear and there is not much elevation difference, only about half an hour, it is an easy section. Back to the beach, you can eat a doll noodle at the store, have a cup of coffee, or sunbathe on the beach.
