Wan Chai’s new Japanese-style check-in hotel! In addition to tatami rooms, there are also special Japanese-style Tapas!

Since the opening of the Exhibition Station, it has become more convenient to discover delicious food. Recently, a selected hotel “AKI Hong Kong – MGallery” has opened in Wan Chai, providing another new choice for Staycation.

AKI has a stylish decoration, and it is worth mentioning the hotel’s rare tatami rooms. Even if you can’t fly to Japan, you can still feel like you’re traveling! Combined with the natural wood tones and spacious windows that bring in plenty of natural light, it feels comfortable.

The hotel features the TANGRAM restaurant that spans an entire floor, inspired by the puzzle game of the same name “Tangram”. By piecing together different culinary elements to create a diverse menu, guests can also create their own menu. The restaurant offers a unique interactive breakfast during the day, as well as a three-course lunch box with Western and Asian flavors inspired by “Chef’s Choice”.

During dinner time, there are Spanish tapas and Japanese-style Spanish snacks (Japas) with Japanese elements, including “Marinated Oilfish in Sour Citrus Juice,” “Slow-cooked Wagyu Beef with Yuzu Juice,” “Truffle Toast with Italian-style Cured Ham and Quail Egg,” “Italian-style Fried Rice Balls with Foie Gras and Spicy Tomato Sauce,” etc., which can be paired with a variety of cocktails mixed with sake.

Additionally, there is Uncle Ming’s whiskey bar located on the top floor of the hotel, where you can enjoy malt whiskey, sake, wine, champagne, cocktails, and snacks while admiring the urban scenery of Hong Kong.

Address: 239 Jaffe Road, Wan Chai
