Summer set menu at Golden Bell Hotel featuring authentic Italian cuisine! Signature handmade pasta, online store discounts.

Italian cuisine is arguably the most popular type of Western food. The Grand Hyatt Hong Kong’s Grissini has always been known for its authentic Northern Italian cuisine. Recently, they have launched a new summer tasting menu for dinner, featuring new dishes by Chef Riccardo.

For dinner, you can choose from three, four, or five-course set menus, starting at HK$888 per person. If you choose the four-course option, it includes appetizer, pasta, main course, and dessert. For appetizers, you can choose from Hokkaido scallops with oyster snow peas, smoked cheese with cherry tomatoes, or add HK$150 for fresh red shrimp slices with vinegar foam. The rich and sweet red shrimp sashimi is sliced thinly, served with precious caviar and shrimp paste from the shrimp head, enhancing the freshness.

The restaurant has always been known for its freshly made handmade pasta, with a recommendation for the seafood carbonara pasta. The pasta is al dente, and the sauce is not the traditional carbonara sauce, but rather a seafood-based sauce, paired with baby squid, clams, mussels, and other seafood. When served, it is freshly grated with Italian salted egg crumbs to enhance the flavor. Another recommended dish is the wide noodles with lamb and porcini mushrooms, with wide noodles enveloping lamb slow-cooked for 12 hours, and the server will smoke the pasta with apple wood on the spot.

The main course can choose from roasted lamb saddle, baked sea treasures, M7 Wagyu beef, etc. Although M7 Wagyu beef costs an additional HK$200, the portion is generous. The Wagyu sirloin, cut into four large pieces, is fragrant, soft, and tender, paired with freshly shaved truffles, pan-fried foie gras, banana shallots, and fried angel hair baskets.

In terms of desserts, you must try the pistachio mousse cake and Tiramisu puff pastry. The former is made with Sicilian pistachios, smooth and rich, while the latter features Mascarpone cheese sandwiched between crispy pastry with coffee ice cream, reinterpreting the classic Italian dessert with a different texture.

Book three-course and four-course set meals at the hotel’s online store, with a buy-three-get-one-free offer, costing around six hundred dollars per person. The promotion is valid until September 18th.
