In Sai Ying Pun, there are many unique delicacies to discover, and recently, the Italian restaurant LucAle on Third Street has unveiled a new look with soft blue and gray tones, while also introducing a variety of new dishes.
The restaurant specializes in seafood delicacies with a taste of the Italian coast, such as the “Thin Sliced Squid” served with pistachio cream, quinoa, and crispy roasted almonds, as well as the “Cappelletti Italian Dumplings Stuffed with Sea Bass” served with lemon foam and caviar.
The main course includes “Pan-seared sea bass” with vacuum-cooked porcini mushrooms, special spicy tomato sauce, and herb cream, paired skillfully. “Hand-cut seafood spaghetti” is also a recommended dish, cooked in origami style, with lobster, prawns, and scallops accompanied by fresh tomatoes and basil sauce, bringing out the freshness. “Slow-cooked 24-hour beef cheek” is served with tender beef cheek, celery root puree, and caramelized kumquats, rich and flavorful.
