IKEA Market! “IKEA Opening Market” is themed around Hong Kong local culture and creativity, featuring a variety of local specialty shops and non-profit organizations’ stalls!
The market is held every weekend at designated stores, with stalls built by IKEA and adorned with Hong Kong-style signs designed by local artist DUM DUR. The design incorporates elements of IKEA’s mascot, and the stalls offer a variety of exquisite accessories, lifestyle products, skincare items, and handmade fabric and rope crafts that showcase authentic local characteristics and Hong Kong-style sentiment.
In addition to getting unique and exquisite products, IKEA restaurants and food stations also offer a variety of Hong Kong-style cuisine, including “Hong Kong-style minced beef spaghetti with poached egg”, “sweet tofu pudding”, “Typhoon Shelter crispy chicken fillet”, “Hong Kong-style milk tea with new territories and mini egg waffles”. It is definitely a great place to go on weekends!
