Hotel ICON’s GREEN is launching a new “Japanese-style Strawberry Festival” afternoon tea! The tea set consists of three courses, starting with a special seafood appetizer, including a warm and creamy Japanese pumpkin soup, a golden baked stuffed seafood crab shell, and fresh and plump baked Hiroshima oysters, perfect for seafood lovers!
Three selected main courses are made with Japanese ingredients. You can choose between the signature grass-fed sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and red wine sauce, Hokkaido scallops with flat pasta and dill cream sauce, or pan-seared grouper fillet with Japanese strawberry salsa and Italian balsamic vinegar sauce.
The most anticipated star is definitely the Japanese strawberry! The Japanese strawberry platter contains 5 premium strawberry varieties, including “Amayuki” from Nara Prefecture, “Miss Saga Strawberry” from Saga Prefecture, “Sweet King” from Fukuoka Prefecture, “Koi Mi” from Kumamoto Prefecture, and “Yume no Kaori” from Nagasaki Prefecture. Experience a variety of refreshing fruit flavors all at once!
Afterwards, there are 6 exquisite strawberry desserts served on a two-tiered turntable, with dry ice smoke effects swirling around the dessert stand, perfect for taking photos! The desserts include Japanese strawberry sake konjac jelly, strawberry daifuku, strawberry tiramisu, and citrus strawberry egg rolls. The British traditional scones are soft and fluffy, with a rich buttery aroma, served with whipped cream and homemade strawberry lychee rose jam. Don’t miss out on the unlimited supply of homemade green tea soy milk ice cream, which can be paired with Okinawan brown sugar mochi and Hokkaido Tokachi red beans, full of Japanese flavors!
