“Hong Kong-style” ingredient creative specialty cocktails! XO sauce/soy sauce/char siu production techniques, newly launched refreshing taste collaboration with beer.

The Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong’s bar, ARGO, recently introduced a new cocktail menu called ARGO Cook Book. The menu features 12 cocktails with Hong Kong cuisine as the main theme, using ingredients that are familiar to Hong Kong people, including soybeans, apricot kernels, XO sauce, vegan char siu, black vinegar, and aged tea leaves!

The “Dynasty Old Fashioned” is made with Moutai bourbon whiskey and Ferrand cognac, with the addition of “ĀN Soy” brand toasted soy pulp, resulting in a smooth and bean-flavored taste. Another cocktail, the “Hellfire Club,” incorporates techniques used in the preparation of char siu, including roasting and sugaring, onto pineapple, creating a rum and Ayuuk-based cocktail with a tangy and smoky flavor.

It is worth mentioning the “XO Negroni”, which combines the sweet and bitter flavors of XO sauce to create a strong alcoholic drink through ingredients and techniques. In addition, there is also the beer “Golden Orb” jointly launched by ARGO and Carbon Brews, which uses wild Sichuan peppercorns, kumquat leaves, and seasonal oranges as the main ingredients, bringing a spicy, floral, and citrusy flavor that is refreshing and easy to drink.
