Central’s long-standing American retro restaurant! Classic skirt burger, super sinful giant crispy cheese.

The Diner, an American retro-style restaurant from the 50s and 60s, has been in business for 8 years in Central. They have had their signature skirt burger for a long time, and in recent years, many burger joints have even imitated it. The restaurant used to be on Arbuthnot Road, but this year they moved to a more convenient location on Wyndham Street.

Arrived to try the most popular skirt burger ($189), called a skirt because it has a large piece of cheese in the middle, like a big skirt hem! Each piece is about the size of 4-5 packs, with a crispy texture on the outside, and even the edges are very crispy! The middle of the pasta, due to the temperature of the beef patty and the bread, slightly melts the cheese slices, giving a soft and smooth melted cheese texture!

Apart from the skirt burger, there are more than ten burger options on the menu. Other snacks and dishes also have sinful elements, such as bacon and cheese fries ($88), crispy fries topped with bacon sauce, half-melted cheese covering the fries, irresistible!

Address: G/F, 48 Wyndham Street, Central
