Many people love to eat crispy, soft, and buttery croissant waffles with a hint of buttery aroma. Recently, the top floor 47 of Kowloon East Crowne Plaza Hotel collaborated with Häagen-Dazs™ ice cream to launch the “Croffle Croissant Waffle” afternoon tea!
Croffle is made to order, sprinkled with sugar before baking to add a crispy caramel taste and aroma. The afternoon tea set includes two savory croffles and three dessert options. The savory croffles include “Italian dry-cured ham and cheese,” pairing salty Parma ham with sweet honeydew and Parmesan cheese, as well as the flavor of “tuna avocado cucumber,” mixing avocado puree and avocado chunks into tuna meat for a smooth texture.
The sweet Croffle is paired with Haagen-Dazs ice cream, including “Korean strawberry with strawberry ice cream”, “mango passion fruit with vanilla mango passion fruit ice cream”. There is also “cotton candy chocolate with Belgian chocolate ice cream”, the slightly toasted cotton candy has a caramelized flavor, and the chocolate sauce uses Valrhona 72% dark chocolate, combined with crushed almond cookies and Oreo crumbs, Belgian dark chocolate ice cream, the taste is rich and creamy.
