62-year history oyster farm direct delivery from Okayama Prefecture, Japan! All-you-can-eat oysters at Central Izakaya/Bento Skewers

90-minute all-you-can-eat Japanese oyster buffet! For just HK$500, enjoy unlimited teppanyaki or fresh oysters at the newly opened “Kita Uki Oyster House” from Hokkaido, Japan, located in Pottinger Street, Central!

Kita-Ki Island Oyster Farm in Okayama has a history of 62 years. It is used by many Michelin-starred restaurants in Japan. It has opened an izakaya in Hong Kong for the first time, using its own cultivated oysters. The meat is plump and thick, with a salty and fragrant taste of seawater, and the quality is very stable.

The izakaya offers all-you-can-eat oysters (60 minutes HK$398/person; 90 minutes HK$498/person), where you can enjoy teppanyaki oysters or oyster sashimi during the all-you-can-eat period! The teppanyaki oysters can be smelled immediately with a tantalizing aroma, accompanied by 6 secret sauces, including vinegar, XO sauce, cheese sauce, garlic sauce, Thai spicy sauce, and cumin sauce. As for the oyster sashimi, you can choose between original flavor or with a Tosazu jelly flavor, the latter accompanied by Tosazu jelly, spicy radish paste, and green onions, bringing out a simple and fresh taste.

With every purchase now, you will receive a complimentary set of nine premium appetizers, including Japanese imported geoduck sashimi, oyster tea-infused rice, dual-colored grilled live eel, tempura okra, handmade moon-viewing grilled chicken skewers, tempura shiso leaf with minced tuna, oyster sashimi, salad, and pickles.

In addition to the all-you-can-eat option, the izakaya also offers a variety of a la carte dishes, including the popular oyster dishes. The “Oyster Tempura” (HK$38) has a crispy outer layer; the “Oyster Woven Udon from Goshima” (HK$128) allows you to choose between oyster soup or spicy oyster soup, and the oysters can be pan-fried or tempura. Similarly priced options include mixed udon or winter udon, mixed with concentrated oyster sauce for a rich and flavorful taste.

“The Oyster Kamameshi” (HK$138) is simmered in oyster broth and fresh vegetables, with the rice absorbing the delicious oyster juice, served hot with a fragrant aroma. The “Eel and Oyster Bento” (HK$198) features tender and bouncy Sanwa Bay eel. Other dishes include a variety of skewers. Whether you want to eat oysters, have a quick lunch, or enjoy some sake and skewers after work, this place is quite nice!
