Daguang Restaurant 90 minutes to taste a variety of pasta! Sorento thick tube noodles / Cuttara anchovy fish sauce pasta / Truffle wide noodles

Both are Italian cuisine, but the way and taste of cooking pasta in the north and south are very different! The Italian restaurant and bar PAZTA in Tai Kwun recently launched a “Pasta Flight” tasting menu, where you can enjoy a variety of specialty pastas from 12 regions in Italy within 90 minutes!

This includes the famous “Porcini Mushroom Tagliatelle” from the northwest, with tagliatelle covered in porcini mushroom sauce and Parmesan cheese, rich and delicate, while the “Baked Gorgonzola Gnocchi with Walnuts” is served with smoked caramelized radicchio and crispy walnuts. The “Cuttlefish Ink Linguine with Bottarga” is a southern delicacy, with cuttlefish and bottarga as the main ingredients, paired with cherry tomatoes and a hint of extra virgin olive oil, full of marine flavors.

“Sorrento Thick Tube Noodles” features local buffalo cheese, paired with garlic tomato sauce and basil leaves to enhance the flavor. There are also “Truffle Wide Noodles” served with precious black truffles, “Pistachio Pesto Ham Linguine” made with Bronte pistachios, and “Italian-style Seafood Orecchiette Pasta” full of chewiness.

“Pasta Flight” is priced at HK$230 per person, available from 3 pm on weekdays and from noon on weekends. The tasting menu is suitable for four people or more and requires advance booking, with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco sparkling wine or Italian wine.
