Japanese restaurant in Southern Kyushu, Okinawa Prefecture style menu! Miyazaki Prefecture Wagyu with fish roe sauce / Kumamoto Prefecture peach with orange sorbet

The Japanese restaurant Zoku Restaurant & The Terrace at The Hari Hong Kong in Wan Chai has recently launched a “Taste of Southern Kyushu and Okinawa Prefecture” menu with six and eight-course options in collaboration with Mizunara. The limited-time menu is available for dinner from now until November 4th.

Dishes are selected from Kumamoto Prefecture, Miyazaki Prefecture, Kagoshima Prefecture, and Okinawa Prefecture, with each dish paired with Japanese sake, awamori, and cocktails. The three appetizers include “Miyazaki Prefecture Wagyu with fish roe, daikon, and yuzu peel”, “Kumamoto Prefecture crab meat potato salad crispy sushi”, “Okinawa Prefecture sea snail with Japanese steamed egg, fish roe, and salmon roe soy sauce marinade”.

Creative dishes to follow include “Kagoshima bamboo pod fish with salmon roe, edamame puree, and mustard yuzu marinated fish sauce”, “Breadcrumbs fried Kagoshima pork belly Japanese sandwich”, “Kyushu black sea bream with rich fish soup, baby green pepper, and mint”, “Miyazaki Prefecture A5 Wagyu beef”, “Kumamoto Prefecture lobster rice with coriander and vinegar orange peel”.

In terms of desserts, there is “Citrus Sorbet” made with Kumamoto Prefecture’s Dangzo watermelon, oranges, and shochu, while the second dessert is “Strawberry Tofu” made with Okinawa Prefecture tofu and black sugar mixed with strawberries from various prefectures in Japan, refreshing and sweet.
