As the autumn chill sets in, the perfect treat is to indulge in chestnut desserts! From Japan’s specialty omelette rice restaurant Grill Mantensei, they have recently introduced several desserts made with Japanese chestnuts, available for a limited time from now until November 15th.
The new autumn chestnut-themed desserts include “Japanese Chestnut Buffet”, with special chestnut-flavored Gelato ice cream paired with chestnut puree, whole peeled chestnuts, candied chestnuts, and crispy caramelized nut crumbs, sweet and soft, with a caramel sauce, Lotus caramel brittle crumbs, and cream in the middle, full of layers. “Japanese Chestnut Waffle” is crispy and delicious, paired with chestnut puree bubbles, rich in flavor.
If you like souffle pancakes, there is also “Japanese Chestnut Souffle Pancakes”, with a light texture, eaten with Mascarpone soft cheese and chestnut cream, and added with Lotus caramel crispy biscuits and chestnut-flavored Gelato ice cream as decoration, sweet and delicious.
