Almond-themed dessert shop opens in Mong Kok! Osmanthus Jelly with Rock Sugar / Almond Tea with Steamed Egg White / Light Snack Sandwiches

The popular dessert shop Almond Dessert, with almonds as the theme, recently opened a new store in Mong Kok, and also launched new Hong Kong-style sweet soup suitable for autumn!

The newly launched Magnolia Jelly series includes both hot and cold options. The cold selection features the “Signature Apricot Juice Bobo Ice Magnolia Jelly” with 4 colors of taro balls, basil seeds, and apricot juice, as well as the “Mango Coconut Magnolia Jelly” with creamy mango ice, mango chunks, 4 colors of taro balls, and coconut jelly. The hot options include “Walnut Soup Magnolia Jelly” and “Black Sesame Paste Magnolia Jelly,” both with a smooth texture.

There are also signature almond tea and almond tea with steamed egg white series, among which the almond tea with steamed egg white is limited to 100 cups per day. Different from the common practice of directly adding egg white to almond tea, the dessert shop processes it in a steamed form, then lightly burns the surface with a blowtorch, making it very fragrant when served. There is a wide selection of other desserts or drinks, such as the “Lusong Mango Mini Balls Almond Tea Sip Sip” which incorporates soft and chewy mini balls into almond tea drinks, the “Coconut Cat Mountain King Durian Double-Skin Milk” made with 3.6 milk, and flavors including durian, matcha, malted milk, peanut, and black sesame, along with the “Family Happiness Tangyuan” served with osmanthus sugar water.

In addition to drinks and desserts, Almond Dessert has recently added savory options. The new light sandwich series allows customers to choose their own bread, sauce, and meat in a noodle cart style, made to order. Bread options include the solid and elastic Pita bread, while recommended secret sauces include avocado sauce, pumpkin sauce, and salted egg yolk sauce.

During the grand opening period of the new store in Mong Kok, limited offers are available. From now until November 30, customers can enjoy a homemade mini fruit ice for an additional HK$1 with any purchase of a light snack or dessert at the new store. Flavors include durian, cantaloupe, strawberry, mango, and longan (valued at HK$20). Additionally, there is a special promotion for the new store’s exclusive membership card with a buy one get one free offer.
