The team behind the famous Sai Kung ice cream café is planning a brand new coffee shop in Prince Edward! A must-try is the rich matcha with homemade ice cream.

The coffee and ice cream at the popular Sai Kung coffee shop Hushush have always been highly sought after. Their own roasted beans are even supplied to many other coffee shops. The ice cream is also homemade, with different flavors available regularly. Unfortunately, in the past, the quantity of ice cream produced was limited, so even when you go to Sai Kung, you might not be able to get it.

The new café Bar Memento, recently opened in Prince Edward, is curated by the founder and team of Hushush, embodying the spirit of Hushush by providing high-quality coffee and handmade ice cream. They will also incorporate seasonal natural ingredients into their coffee, specialty drinks, ice cream, desserts, etc. Inside the store, you will see bottles of pickled fruits and ingredients.

The café is currently in the trial stage, with drinks and desserts temporarily offering basic styles. If you want to try the new coffee and ice cream offerings in one go, you must choose the Affogato! There is a classic Espresso Affogato (HK$75) and a matcha version of Matcha Affogato, with rich and fragrant matcha paired with two creamy and smooth vanilla ice cream balls. The slowly melting ice cream makes the matcha even silkier, and there will be a vegan version of the ice cream available later.

Desserts and cakes currently feature Lucy’s products, with styles depending on daily availability. Pound cakes, roll cakes, and more will be available alternately. Stay tuned for more cocktails, specialty coffees, and drinks!
