Each time there is a surprise at the Dangwen Li Bakery, the newly opened Pop-up store at Pacific Place in Admiralty has new creations! The entire line of stores and Pop-up stores simultaneously launched cakes inspired by childhood snacks, with lifelike three-dimensional shapes once again attracting everyone’s attention!
The caramel coffee milk tea cake in the shape of a noodle cup (HK$58) has a bottom layer of caramel crispy rice, a middle layer of caramel sponge cake and homemade cold brew coffee jelly, another layer of milk tea mousse, and the noodle-like top layer is caramel milk tea flavored, with a chocolate Oreo roll on top, scoring 100 points for authenticity!
The hawthorn-shaped hawthorn comb cheese cake (HK$65) brings a sweet and sour taste with hawthorn red raspberry mousse, paired with a light Japanese comb cheese cake and lychee jelly. The mango sponge cake (HK$65) is shaped like a mango cone, almost lifelike when held in hand! The cone is actually a vanilla-flavored Mascarpone cheese cream, enveloped in a flavorful mango passion fruit jelly.
There is also a lemon rice pudding mousse cake with a Hong Kong-style French toast design (HK$62), and a hazelnut chocolate cake in the shape of a teddy bear with the original size (HK$520/original), with lines resembling a teddy bear and a cute little bear holding a croissant pattern.
The pop-up store also offers a limited edition sandwich made with brioche butter soft bread, inspired by Japanese cuisine, including the “Beef Sukiyaki” with molten Japanese egg (HK$82), the “Crab Cake” shaped like a cylinder and served with seaweed white sauce and yuzu marinated cabbage (HK$68), and the “Curry Cutlet Fried Chicken” drizzled with Japanese curry sauce (HK$58). Even for grab & go, you can still enjoy high-quality food!
Other sweet and crispy breads are also available, including the signature croissant, croissant toast, and new flavor Spanish spicy sausage lava egg pastry, you can enjoy your favorite pastries and desserts from morning to night!
