The Kerry Hotel Hong Kong collaborates with the skincare brand HABA to bring “Early Autumn · Hokkaido Beauty” afternoon tea, inspired by its flagship series of high-purity squalene beauty products, and incorporating seasonal Hokkaido ingredients to design Japanese-style flavored pastries.
The afternoon tea savory items include “Scallop marinated in yuzu vinegar and topped with caviar, pickled cucumber, scallions, and yuzu pearls”, “Deep-fried A5 Wagyu beef with spicy mustard egg yolk sauce, scallions, and fried garlic”, “Matsutake and black truffle Japanese chicken chawanmushi”, “Mini Hokkaido Tokachi pork rice bowl with special miso sauce”, and “Smoked salmon sandwich with cucumber and Hokkaido cream cheese”, all inspired by authentic and popular Japanese cuisine.
In terms of desserts, there are “Matcha Fig Tart” with a lavender theme inspired by HABA’s limited edition Squalane Beauty Oil, “Yuzu Green Apple Cake” with a light and fresh taste, as well as “Chocolate Buckwheat Tea Cake” and “French Chestnut Blueberry Cake”. As for homemade English scones, they are infused with lemon flavor and served with French jam and cream. Drinks can be paired with Lavender Lemon Special Drink, or upgraded with French Perrier-Jouët champagne. For every two guests ordering the afternoon tea set, each person will receive a HABA gift redemption voucher and a skincare treatment redemption voucher.
