The famous Taiwanese grass jelly dessert shop has finally arrived in Hong Kong! Boiling natural grass jelly for eight hours, using real taro paste and taro balls.

“Eight Immortals Grass,” which originated in Taichung, has opened a store in Central! Currently, there are eight branches in Taiwan, with its snowflake ice made from fairy grass making a name for itself. The aged fairy grass is cooked for eight hours, extracting natural collagen, and the alkaline-free natural formula achieves a very smooth texture!

The ice base of the snowflake ice is also made from well-cooked grass jelly, so the texture of the ice base has a slight hint of grass jelly gelatin. As for the taro paste and taro balls and other ingredients, we also insist on using at least 80% of the original ingredients to make them, the taste is natural, and most of the sweetness is just right.

The types on the menu are roughly divided into the “Yanshi Xue Series” with snow ice topped with milk cap, and the “Cui Xue Series” with red beans on top of the snow ice. Both types of snow ice have grass jelly placed on the bottom layer, and can also be paired with taro paste and green tea ice cream, as well as toppings such as taro balls, sweet potato balls, pearls, red beans, purple rice, and more.

Another must-try category is the “Tender Series”, with grass jelly paired with various ingredients, the large bowl of grass jelly is very tender and smooth, very different from the grass jelly usually eaten, with a mild and slightly sweet taste.

In terms of beverages, there are options like iced drinks and grass jelly milk tea. Later on in the fall and winter, hot desserts such as baked grass jelly and red bean purple rice porridge will be introduced. Central district will have another affordable option for Chinese desserts and Taiwanese beverages!
