The Japanese restaurant in Tsuen Wan West promotes the “store within a store” concept! 6 new classic pasta dishes and Italian-Japanese fusion dishes paired with sake.

In Tsuen Wan West, the Japanese restaurant IKIGAI CONCEPTS occupies 12,000 square feet, spacious and comfortable, with chefs preparing charcoal-grilled dishes, Japanese cuisine, teppanyaki, sake, and more. Recently, they have introduced the concept of “Restaurant within Restaurant” under the name La Trattoria, offering a series of classic Italian pasta dishes and new Italian-Japanese fusion dishes.

The lunch and dinner three-course set meals all come with a choice of fresh appetizers, such as “Italian Tomato Red Onion Salad,” “Italian Octopus Salad,” “Sakura Shrimp Sea Urchin Angel Hair Pasta,” etc. La Trattoria’s 6 classic pasta series include “Traditional Carbonara Pasta” with onsen egg and rich cheese powder, “Sicilian Red Prawn Pasta” with tender and chewy shrimp meat, and “Bolognese Beef Sauce Fettuccine” with a rich flavor.

“Garlic and Perilla Squid Ink Pasta” is specially prepared with 3 types of garlic, including iron plate-fried Japanese garlic slices, fresh Italian garlic slices, and homemade soy sauce garlic granules, bringing multiple layers of garlic flavor, combined with flavorful squid ink to enhance the texture. There are also two vegetarian options, including “Italian Tomato Pasta” and “Italian Porcini Mushroom Pasta.”

When it comes to pairing with different dishes, La Trattoria also offers a variety of choices, including the fruity acidity in the front and the refreshing finish of Shiraoka Junmai Ginjo Sake, as well as the fresh bubbly sensation of Namazume Junmai Ginjo Nama Sake, which go very well with Italian cuisine.
