Recently, there have been more cake shops promoting mochi cheesecake. My Sweet Art’s biggest selling point is the Combo Set, which includes three flavors, each half a piece. This way, you can try more flavors without worrying about the cake being too big to finish!
My Sweet Art’s new Basque cake series is made with French cream cheese, rich and smooth. The cheesecake comes in several flavors. The “Original Basque Cheesecake” (HK$168) does not contain mochi, but has the classic cheese flavor, with a soft and smooth texture! The “Taro Mochi Basque Cheesecake” (HK$188) has a thick layer of taro paste, and the 3.6 milk mochi is very soft, balancing the flavors of taro and cheese in the middle.
“The matcha mochi Basque cheesecake” (HK$188) has a rich matcha flavor, with a relatively low sweetness level, and when paired with matcha sauce, matcha lovers will be very satisfied! The “durian Basque cheesecake” (HK$198, only available for whole cake orders) has a creamy texture of durian flesh, perfectly combined with the cheesecake!
Each original cheesecake is 4 inches in size, slightly smaller than the usual 6 inches found in the market, making it perfect for celebrating with two people or for indulging alone! The shop also offers a special “Combo Set” (HK$298), where you can taste original, taro, and matcha flavors all at once, with each flavor being half a cheesecake. Even though the cakes are already cut in half, they still have that stretchy mochi effect! Plus, all the cakes are made the day before the group purchase day to ensure the best texture and taste!
