Cultural center space sense Café! Shepherd boy “Floating Duckweed” theme new branch/window side water view for check-in

by

Considered one of the first-generation cafes in Hong Kong, the shepherd boy has just opened a new branch, Bar Lemna, at the Cultural Center! Lemna means “duckweed,” with the connotation of floating on the water. The coffee shop covers an area of over a thousand square feet, with a large number of green plants used in the interior space, and the three sides of the wide glass windows offer views of the small river next to the Cultural Center. The flowing ripples under the breeze create a shimmering effect, making people feel as if they are on a floating island on the water.

Bar Lemna has a super spacious interior, with almost every space having different features or feelings. Stepping inside, on the right is the bar area, but it is not currently open. Moving forward is the semi-open meal preparation area, with a large triangular island table in front. Along a row of windows, comfortable sofa seats are placed, with the blue pattern of the seats echoing the flowing water outside.

Continue walking forward is the coffee bar, with cement tones and curved lines of shared coffee seats, allowing everyone to leisurely enjoy coffee. Moving into the deepest space, like a large study, it will be used for hosting screenings, exhibitions, and other cultural and creative activities.

In terms of food, there are lunch sets and à la carte dishes. The lunch sets include appetizers, main courses, and desserts, with options such as Spanish meatballs with tomato sauce, miso white sesame eggplant, etc. The main courses are even more enticing, including red wine braised beef penne, grilled chicken burger, grilled miso-marinated Norwegian salmon fillet, slow-cooked American beef brisket, and more.

As for desserts, there are Tiramisu, apple pie, etc. Overall, savory dishes are of higher quality than desserts, and the slow-roasted three-yellow chicken and Iberian pork back fried potato fries on the a la carte menu are also highly praised!

Address: Ground Floor, Cultural Centre Restaurant Building, Tsim Sha Tsui
