The Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel has recently partnered with the Japanese beauty skincare brand ALBION to bring the “Skin Care Afternoon Tea”, featuring 11 exquisite Japanese delicacies against the backdrop of the enchanting 180-degree Victoria Harbour view at Sky Lounge!
The afternoon tea features 11 savory and sweet delicacies, inspired by ALBION’s upgraded flagship health lotion N, with organic “Hokkaido Job’s Tears” as the main ingredient, extracted concentrated organic Job’s Tears essence and organic Job’s Tears oil, helping the skin to regenerate itself, reduce inflammation, and fight oxidation.
Desserts include “Chestnut Chocolate Puff”, with chestnut paste mixed with custard cream, smooth and rich, full of egg fragrance; the bottom layer is paired with crispy baked small puffs, soft and crispy. The outer layer of “Yuzu Cheesecake” is sprinkled with almond crumbs white chocolate, the inside cheesecake is smooth and soft, emitting a fresh yuzu fragrance. The towering “Mini Mandarin Milk Roll” is filled with vanilla milk cream, topped with flower-shaped white chocolate, filled with sweet Japanese mandarin fruit puree.
The signature dish is the “Tamagoyaki Sandwich,” which combines a thick and flavorful tamagoyaki with a solid texture, paired with a Japanese mustard-flavored egg salad. The “Foie Gras Creme Brulee” is savory with a hint of sweetness, as the foie gras is marinated in brandy to eliminate greasiness, then slow-cooked at low temperature with yuzu zest for added fragrance. The “Kurobuta Pork Sandwich” features golden and fragrant buttered bread, filled with crispy yet tender Kurobuta pork that is juicy.
