2023 ช่วงฤดูใบไม้ผลิ ณ ช่วงเวลาที่จัดงานแฟชั่นวีคนิวยอร์ก Bottega Veneta มีการเข้าร่วมอย่างไม่เหมือนใคร โดยทำงานร่วมกับร้านหนังสือตำนานท้องถิ่น The Strand โดยใช้กระเป๋า Tote Bag จากผ้าใบเป็นแรงบันดาลใจ พร้อมเปิดตัว Tote Bag ร่วมกัน 3 รุ่นที่ใช้หนังผสมผ้าใบผลิ
Established in 1927, The Strand, a New York bookstore with nearly a century of history, is not only a must-visit spot for tourists, but also a favorite of Bottega Veneta’s Creative Director, Matthieu Blazy. This time, under Matthieu Blazy’s direction, the canvas Tote Bag has been redesigned, incorporating luxurious and delicate leather. In addition to the black and bright yellow versions, the iconic Intrecciato weaving technique has been added. Each collaborative bag is printed with The Strand’s red oval logo and “18 Miles Of Books,” indicating the store’s rich book collection. However, it is said that the books in the store now stretch for more than 23 miles, far exceeding the 18 miles!
เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองความร่วมมือครั้งนี้ ผู้อำนวยความคิดสร้างสรรค์ Matthieu Blazy ได้มอบหมายให้ “The New Yorker” สร้างภาพการ์ตูนเป็นชุดเพื่อเป็นการระลึก และยังเลือกสรรค์หนังสือที่เป็นที่โปรดของเขาบางเล่มด้วย ซึ่งมีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับศิลปะ การถ่ายภาพ แฟชั่น สถาปัตยกรรม และหัวข้ออื่น ๆ หนังสือเหล่านี้จะวางจำหน่ายที่ The Strand จนถึงวันที่ 30 กันยายน ครับ
