PUMA returns to New York Fashion Week in September, combining physical and digital elements for the Futrograde fashion show!

The authoritative magazine “Forbes” recently announced that pop star Rihanna has officially become the youngest self-made billionaire in the United States, with a net total asset of up to $1.4 billion, ranking 21st among American billionaires. This shows her continuously increasing business value and money-making ability. In addition, her influence goes far beyond what you might think, including leading her personal brand to shine at New York Fashion Week in 2017. Exactly 5 years later, PUMA recently announced its strong return to NYFW New York Fashion Week, confirming a fashion show in September that will bring together elements of fashion, music, and sports.

Five years after its debut as FENTY PUMA by Rihanna, PUMA will return to New York Fashion Week on September 13th at 9 pm local time with the theme of Futrograde. The brand has confirmed that this comeback will take on a new form, not only to revisit its traditions but also to showcase its determination to embrace the future through digital means.

Although there are still about two months before the launch, PUMA has already given a preview of the fashion show. The brand revealed that in addition to focusing on PUMA’s sports genes, the men’s and women’s collections will also re-mix the brand’s retro iconic elements. In terms of concept, the clothing series will be inspired by the silhouette of the brand’s classic 1968 T7 tracksuit, iconic jumping logo, and the revival of traditional elements, blending them with futuristic elements. The 2022 autumn collection will be available immediately after the fashion show, while other pieces will debut in spring 2023.

It is worth mentioning that PUMA has also revealed that the fashion show will showcase the new 2022 fall/winter collection and 2023 spring/summer collection through different PUMA FAM athletes, celebrity members, and will also confirm collaborations with Dapper Dan, Palomo, AC Milan, Koche, and others this season, each interpreting the brand’s tradition in different ways. In addition, the digital foundation planted in the first half of the year through collaborations in the Web 3 field will evolve into a completely different digital experience in the Futrograde series. Fashion enthusiasts, stay tuned for PUMA’s exciting performance at NYFW in September!
