#Paris Fashion Week: Miu Miu 2022 Fall/Winter Collection continues to ignite the low-rise trend, breaking through the binary gender definition with women’s wear for men.

The Miu Miu girls under the pen of Miuccia Prada are both rebellious and brave in expressing themselves. The Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2022 collection features oversized blazers or coats on models, paired with cropped tops, mini skirts, and deliberately showing the waistband of underwear, revealing a hint of sensuality under the neutral attire.

Last season’s series of cut-out waist designs for Spring/Summer 2022 left a deep impression, and this autumn/winter continues with the same design concept. Miuccia Prada seems to be reminding the fashion world of the style aesthetics she first created. If last season played with campus styling, then this season seems to be subverting sportswear, once again embodying the brand’s rebellious spirit.

Compared to the spring and summer collegiate style dominated by shirts, sweaters, and blazers, the Miu Miu girls in autumn and winter become sunny and dynamic. On the catwalk, a series of tennis-inspired clothing can be seen, such as the opening tennis suit, which combines low-waisted pleated skirts and polo shirts, presenting an uncoordinated proportion and creating an avant-garde aesthetic.

In addition, the series also challenges traditional clothing thinking, bringing hollow mesh jumpsuits, or transparent chiffon tops and jumpsuits, generously revealing the inside of the bra top and panties, creating a subtly sexy beauty.

After 14 years, male models appeared on the Miu Miu catwalk again. Miuccia Prada deliberately dressed men in her gender-neutral designs, breaking through binary gender definitions, conveying the message of seeking self-identity, and emphasizing the importance of accepting one’s true self.
