First release! Ferragamo’s new creative director Maximilian’s first collection, reinterpreting the legendary bag Wanda.

After Creative Director Maximilian Davis took office, the brand was renamed “FERRAGAMO”, with a modern new logo and a touch of red to open a new chapter for the brand.

At just 27 years old, Maximilian Davis has already garnered a following of fashion celebrities such as Rihanna and Dua Lipa with his strong personal aesthetic, sharp unique tailoring, and avant-garde yet elegant style. His debut Ferragamo collection for the Spring/Summer 2023 season at Milan Fashion Week showcased bold and innovative thinking, injecting a fresh perspective into the brand and receiving praise from fashion enthusiasts.

The new image advertisement “A New Dawn” for the 2023 Spring/Summer collection has recently been released. Prior to the official launch of the collection, an exclusive preview series has been introduced, available for only one month, allowing customers to experience the modern charm of the brand’s Spring/Summer collection in advance.

The exclusive preview series showcases Maximilian Davis’ debut Milan Fashion Show theme: beach tones and casual elegance, a fresh perspective, and modern charm. He said, “I want to pay tribute to Salvatore with Hollywood culture – this refers to the new Hollywood, celebrating its unique ease and sensuality, skillfully depicting sunsets and sunrises.”

Drawing inspiration from the shiny red high heels once created by Salvatore Ferragamo for Marilyn Monroe, Maximilian Davis brings a modern aesthetic with new interpretations, featuring tight pants adorned with delicate suspender details, or revealing a suede look that subverts feminine qualities. The color palette of the collection is bold and eye-catching, using plenty of striking bright reds and gradient oranges symbolizing the sunset, perfectly echoing the theme.

In addition, the brand introduces a new iconic accessory, creating sandals and Elina high-heeled shoes with the brand’s signature Gancini pattern, interpreting casual shoes and boots in a rigorous and simple way. In the handbag series, Maximilian Davis has redesigned the legendary bag Wanda with new proportions, decorated with high brightness, full of style; another handbag plays with hollowed-out cutting, polished leather paired with inner canvas to create a contrasting effect, its simple design echoing the shape of seaside waves.

The exclusive preview series will be available from now until November 30th at Ferragamo.com and selected stores worldwide, including the flagship store on Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. Fashion enthusiasts should not miss it!
